The Housing Marketplace opened for business in 1992. By 1995, our third year in business, we had an annual revenue of $923,000. The next year was $1,002,000. At that point, we began to branch out to target specific areas within the housing industry. Each website domain shown on the opening page reflects an investment in growing in one of those areas.
In 2008, at the beginning of America's four-year housing recession, we thought, "Who needs a housing consulting firm?" To our surprise, a major REIT asked us to start surveying their community residents.
For the next three years we surveyed, by telephone, 43,000 residents using our Net Referral Score program. Thus, the www.NetReferralScore.com domain was initiated and after 14 years, and 130,000 completed surveys, we still provide valuable customer satisfaction data to large and small community operators.
Our company has been blessed with continually meeting so many wonderful people in the housing industry. Some of our newer directions include offering more state required continuing education programs.
Our two newest ventures, www.myninetime.com focuses on providing nine-minute training sessions on proven success techniques being used in the manufactured housing industry in sales, marketing & management.
Our latest addition, www.Dream-Schools.org, is part of our 501 (c) 3 organization, www.ShamaInternational.org that will provide training for those starting any type of business with instruction in business knowledge and ethics.
